I welded the seams and grinded down for the smooth look. I also installed Air Ride upper and lower A arms along with Air Ride shockwave suspension. I had to cut the spring purchs out and cut the frame so that the bags would not hit. Also I upgraded the front brakes with Wilwood 4 piston brake kit P/N 950-140-2508(JEGS). This is a great looking set up and very easy to install. I also used Wilwoods polished aluminum master cylinder P/N 950-260-8555(JEGS).
Here I am smoothing out the firewall. I cut and welded sheetmetal in all the holes and filled in where the heater box was. I had to notch out the floor on the right side for the header and also rolled the seam for more room. That was not needed there is room but I just wanted tobe different. Something I also did is I line X the underside of the bed and the tubes,the inner fenderwells,underside of the cab and the inside of the cab(up the firewall,floor and the backwall).
