Here's some misc track pics - with the car in action!
The car competes in NASA TT (Time Trial) events. 2008 it competed in group TTA. Per some rule changes for 2009, I decided to switch to group TTB and prepped it accordingly over the winter. It should be an exiting year. I am reshuffling my NASA modification points in order to maximize the ride. I plan to get more into TT/TA events with Redline and hopefully the GRM event. Rate me high!
I also instruct for the SCCA in my local St Louis region. So, the car has carried around a lot of passengers as well - but only in the front now as the rollbar replaced the back seat in 2008!
POWER: Everyone always wants to know about the hp. It dynoed around 250whp stock. Through various states of mods and tuning it's ranged from 300whp - 365whp. Minus some key bolt-on's the car is largely stock. The engine is stock, tranny and clutch are stock, turbo is stock, etc. It's amazing if you open up the intake/exhaust and put it in the hands of a great tuner like AMS Performance what the outcome will be. I highly recommend them for a multitude of upgrades including ECU tuning.
TURN/STOP: I've definitely concentrated more in these areas. I'm on my 3rd suspension setup now. I started with it stock, then added springs, then switched to coilovers and for 2009 I will be running a customized set of Muellierized JIC's. I've tried a number of different brake pads & compounds. I've ran everything from an aggressive street tire, to r-comps to Hoosiers in a few different sizes - but nothing larger than a 255 yet.

May - more track pics from 2009! The 2009 track season has started. I have been participating in NASA Midwest TTB!
June - Received an invitation to the GRM UTCC Challenge at VIR! Wow, what an honor. Not sure if I can make it but super stoked to get the opportunity. Also competed in my first Redline Time Attack event - placing 2nd in Street AWD.
July - NASA event at Autobahn. Took first both days and broke the 2yr old track record for my class.
August - NASA event at BlackHawk Farms. Took first both days and broke the track record for my class by nearly 5 seconds.
September - NASA event at Gingerman Raceway. Took first both days and set the track record for my class.
