I purchased this vehicle in January 2009 and had it towed home.  A little fuel, some tinkering, a jump start and good old' "Rusty" fired right up !  It has it's fair share of problems, but it's 56 years old and it's an International !  How often do you see one of these going down the road ?

I plan to keep the original drivetrain, update the electrical system to 12 volts and to do something with the wheels.  I may do some minor body mods while keeping anything I take off should I get a case of the "originals".  Hope you enjoy the pictures and check back often to see the updates,

85 hp at 3600 rpm, yep ! A real wheel burner.                   Homemade rear bumper ... GONE !

The way I found it, dead and stuck in mud.        A Ford emblem ? are you kidding me ! ... GONE !

The interior is pretty good for it's age.              6 volt positive ground system, a modern marvel.

IH logo is back, the front bumper is gone.          Looking SO much better without the bumpers!

Just cut off those ugly directionals too !                        Look at the way the wipers swing in.

I Think I'm going to tint the windows.                                  Trim rings,  baby moons are next.

Where the stereo eventually will live                         Nice clear front glass for a 1953 Truck.

Time to see what's under the plywood                    Now you know why I call it " Rusty "
