Hey this is my 96 Nissan 240sx, i have sunk alot of time into this car, it has been about a 2 year project up to this point and i still have quite a bit of stuff to do to it before i am done.   The Car was Bone stock when i bought it.  This is my second 240sx, my first one is the 92 thats in my "garage" but is long gone as i blew the engine in it, got mad and sold the car as a shell....hence why i got this one and started building it right from the ground-up.

had the turbo out to re-do the down pipe flange gasket and screwed in a barbed fitting into the intake pipe for the catch can and painted it black :D

New catch can set up which was my winter project, along with heat wrapping the down pipe and pretty much any line that was remotely close to the turbo or manifold :D

Front lip needs to be painted bad, laziness takes over


I did an Sr20det swap, but before i did the swap i fully built the engine:

-Brian Crower 2.2 Stroker
- Ferrea 1mm oversized valves
- Tomei valve guides
- Brian Crower cam shafts
- Arp head studs
- All new timing accesories, water pump etc.....
- Ported and polished the heads..
- Fidanza light flywheel
- Comp clutch ironman series (weak sauce...blown 2 of them up i really want an exedy hyper single)


                           
-Did a Peak boost turbo manifold with a GT3582R Turbo
-Tial 44mm external wastegate with a custom built Screamer pipe
-Custom built 3 inch exhaust with apex'i titanium muffler                      
-Custom built wastegate Dump



-Greddy R spec intercooler with all custom built intercooler piping 2.75"
-AEM dry flow air filter with a 4" intake
-HKS SSQV blow off valve
-Greddy intake manifold



-Sard 260lph fuel pump
-Sard top feed 1000cc injectors
-Autronic SM4 standalone engine management

-Did the 300zx front brake upgrade with brembo drilled rotors and Hawk Pads
-Steel Braided brake lines. left the backs alone just put hawk pads

- JIC Majic FLTA1 coil overs
- JIC Majic Front stut brace
- Ruff Racing 18x8.5 front with 235/40/18
   18x9.5 Rear with 265/35/15 Tires are Nexen N3000 (we'll see how long they last)


- Autometer cobalt oil pressure, water temp, and Boost gauges, Innovate wide band
- Piaa headlights
- Relocated Battery to the trunk with an Optima Red top
- Still need to install my alpine head unit and i have alpine type Speakers with a 360watt 4 channel amp to go with it......decided against putting a subwoofer in this car....i'll just leave that shit for my Jeep.


Oil press and watertemp in the pod, Boost and A/F under Cdplayer
As for the Batt relocate i want to paint my trunk flat black and clean it up a bit still...


Lots of stuff done to the car..... all done by me and a few of my best friends....this is my first "major" project and i have learned a ton.

Still Have to get it all finished up and tuned.... aiming for that 400+ Wheel HP mark.....

****UPDATE**** Car put down 494 rwhp and 400 tq @6500rpm and 18psi of boost
stock coil packs were breaking up in the higher rpm range....so i will have to turn it down untill i can get some Splitfire coils on there.

DUDE! Your 240 is a killer for sure! I'd love to see the faces of these wack honda drivers when you roll up. You make me want a 240 even more now. Haha keep up the good work bro!
