My dads 69SS Camaro

69 SS Camaro 350 automatic 400Turbo Power windows, Cruise, Tilt, Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, And Power Steering.

Shes loaded and thats all the factory options on the car very rare to find a SS with all of those.

Original Color is Hugger Orange with White Stripes but dad is going Red with White stripes and White Vynil top and White deluxe interior and White Hounds tooth seats. The car will have factory 14inch rallys on it, and we are also makin it a RS SS with the hidden headlights and the reverse lights on the rear bumper.

The car is a good project. So far dad has replaced both rocker pannels and both rear bottom quarter pannel patches. Replaced trunk pan and has gotten a new front bottom valance and new drivers side front fender. He is in ther proccess of rewiring the car from the front bumper back inside out. He patched a the front floor pan on the drivers side. The cars whole front dog house is off and the trunk lid is off and the doors are off. The car is under a rust inhibiter, Red primor sealer at the moment and has been wet sanded once. The doors are in good shape other then top rust which is being cleaned up and coated with the same rust inhibitor and primor as the rest of the car. He has bought all new weather stripping for the car. He has also taken the front  sub frame out fron the car and sandblasted and had me weld the new body mount plates on the sub frame and we welded that down and painted the frame black for looks and rolled it back under the car and mounted it. The car has all new front brake pads rotors and calipers, and break lines. The motor is a 350 Out of a 69 Chevelle that we tore apart and have then had the motor reworked and got new flat top pistons, reworked the heads with new valves, Roller rockers, 292 Cam, Holley Street Avenger Carb, new plugs and wires, A Mallory distributor, Intake off a 92 Z28 IROC camaro which with the top plate off the intake the intake looks like the crossram intake off the original 69 Z28s, and the motor also has a set of Summit Racing Headers on it. The 400 Turbo transmition has been rebuilt with a shift kit in it.

Future parts for the car are Z28 valve covers, and the Z28 chambbered exhaust. Along with the Z28 white guages on the console. New spoiler and bumpers. Rally Sport grille and headlight kit. Also full interior kit.

The car is not being built as a show car it is being built as a driver, it will drive to shows and it will drive on anyday wanted so if you see this car on a trailer its either broke down or Stolen one.

I am very proud of my Dad for sticking with it and building this car even though he tells me hes to old to do it this time in his life. He has done a great job and has proved to his self that he can do it even though its hard to get in there and do it. This was the first time he has ever cut a pannel out and replaced it and has worried to death about if its right or not and he did a really good job with replacing the parts he did and has done a great job at getting it straight and as good as he can possible. I hope he gets it done soon so he can finnally enjoy it by driving it and not jsut enjoy knowing he has it. And not only that but he told me i could drive it too and man am i looking forward to that.

If you could please after looking at the car comment and give us any pointers you have that might be of help with anything we have left to do on the car or places to order parts from that might could help out on the cost of things we would greatly appreciate it  and THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR LOOKIN AT THE CAR FOR US.
