This is a 1987 Buick regal Turbo T. It has the same Drivetrain as the Buick Grand National. The 3.8 litre S.F.I. Turbocharged V-6 was the fastest U.S production automobile to come off the assembly line in 1987 even outrunning the Chevrolet Corvette in quarter mile times. This car is capable of mid 12 second quarter mile times with some fine tuning. The factory rates these cars at 245 hp but it was underated becuase the Chevrolet Corvette is supposed to be "Americas Sports Car". The actual hp rating is closer to the 300 hp range.

This is how my car looked 1 year ago after I prchased it and had the windows tinted. Notice the original TType wheels.

Here is a shot of my car with my new Pacer 330cdirectional style wheels installed. What a difference it made with the looks of the car with the wheels installed

Here is a shot from another angle.

Here I am sitting for the camera.

Here is another view.

These are some shots of my awesome
3.8 litre fuel injected, turbocharged, and intercooled v-6 powerplant. Check out the painted intercooler. I just added a new ATR cold air box and new mass air flow pipe. Check it out below.

Since these shots were taken I have added a chrome up pipe and new aluminum F body radiator which helped lighten up the front end and clean up the engine compartment further. I also installed an aftermarket oil cooler. Check out the pics below.

The shot to the left is a home made cold air kit I installed on the car utilizing the driver side air dam. I soon learned that this "ram air" theory actually can be more of a restriction on these cars.
The shot to the right is my solution to the "ram air " theory. I bought 2 new air dams and installed the Atr cold air box in the engine compartment to keep the K&N air filter from collecting the engine heat and installed a custom made intercooler scoop between the lower air dams to help force feed air to the intercooler.

Here are some shots of my extremely clean
burgandy interior. I installed the Lotek full a-pillar twin gauge holder and twin console gauge holder to keep a factory installed look with my Autometer gauges to monitor engine activity. The leather wrapped steering wheel is very exspensive to recover so I installed a steering wheel cover over it to protect it from the sun and oil from your hands witch damage them. I take it off for show when needed. Check out the small tachometer I installed over the dash pod that allows me to monitor engine rpm's. It is a different location to mount than where other owners mount thiers.

Here is a hood mounted fuel pressure gauge by Autometer with a chrome housing cup installed. I like to know what my engine is doing at all times.

Here are some shots of my homemade trunk kit that matches the burgandy interior and really sets off the trunk compartment. I will purchase an aftermarket kit with custom embroidery down the road.

Here is the rear of the car. I installed Dynomax turbo mufflers and 2 1/2 aluminized exhaust to this car with a test pipe and dump tube to give this car a nice "throughty" sound. This is the view commonly seen when a corvette or other unsupecting challenger will see when racing a Turbo T. Notice the decal "The HEARTBEAT stops here".

These are some pictures of me lovely wife with our Turbo T. She comes from a Turbo Regal racing background. Her father raced Turbo Regals for many years and both of them have helped me through the years become more familiar with Turbo Regal performance.

"BAD TO THE BONE!!!!" A burnout in a Turbo Regal is a experience you will never forget. The way the turbo force feeds the air into the engine and creates the tremendous horsepower and accelleration is incredible. Who would have guessed that BUICK would produce a car like this!!
