Welcome to my page
Crush is now a Michigan resident....I will continue to update this page as info trickles in. At some point I will have another Stang of my own to grace this page but untill then, I enjoy keeping tabs on my old project.
Crush's stablemate had a run in with a Lincoln. OUCH !!!
My soon to be ex wife spent me to a point near bankruptcy....AGAIN, and at the moment all I can manage is to keep my family home (which she hawked for the cash) & try to dig my way out of this mess. I started clearing up the debt prior to filing for a divorce which cost me everything I had including Crush but I still have a long way to go.
The cars owner & his new partner have spent another 10K on Crush & god knows how much more they will spend by the time they call her finished. Im glad to be out of this deal. I have enough to deal with & a car buildup is beyond my means for the forseeable future.
Here's an update on my friend's steed. He found a new partner to finish the Stang's build up & a deal has been struck that moved her to the state of Michigan. I could not be happier & to the person who will be turning the wrenches, I say good luck & congratulations. I understand there will be a serious power upgrade coming & some dyno tuning as well. There is some magazine interest in featuring her (MM & FF is going to follow the blower install & possibly put Crush on the cover). I look forward to seeing a feature on Crush. If future plans stay on track Crush is going to appear in a booth at the 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
I made quite a few mistakes with Crush that I wont make the second time around.

So many people commented that they enjoy my divorce update & I will continue keeping my friends informed but I decided to put it on page 2.

And now my friends car....
ORANGE CRUSH
My best friend & I built this car together. I had a stock GT collecting dust in the garage. I was bored with it & had no spare money to customize it. I was going to trade it in & give up on my dream Stang but my buddy asked me if I wated him to supply the funds & get this car built. With that offer I started rounding up parts & building the car. The deal was to pay him back when I had the money. Problem is my wife was spending me into BANKRUPTCY!! She even borrowed $55,000 using my family home that I inherited as collateral. I found myself over $100,000 in debt. I explained this to him & he agreed to take the car in lieu of the nearly $27,000 I owed him. Orange Crush belongs to him now.

I tried to pay tribute to the '67 & '68 GT500 with my choice of hood, grille, scoops & spoiler.

Originally a Grabber Orange 5-speed GT Premium there are no external clues to her humble beginnings.

My choice for wheels was the 18" chrome plated billet wheels made by the Dream Car Factory. The current owner bought massive 14" brakes for all 4 corners which made the switch to the 20" Foose Nitrous wheels mandatory. Tires are Nitto NT555's which are already mounted & will be on the car for her move to Michigan. I get to keep the DCF wheels & they will eventually end up on my Mustang when I get it.

The Eibach coil overs are slated to go on this winter along with a host of other suspension parts.

The Techco watts link will be used instead of the panhard bar & brace in the 1st picture.
I think I will stop adding to my page for now in case they decide to restore my original content.
