Starting my page for my:
1994 Caprice Classic 9C1
120k with LT1 Engine

Car was purchased in August 2008 from a orough police department in Pennsylvania. It had been their 3rd car for over 2 years and been left sitting pretty much that entire time.
Thus far, I toted it out to one show pretty much right when I got it, but I have now been on a mission to restore to car to first and foremost a complete running order.
The problems thus far have been: Heat gauge did not read, needed brakes and rotors all the way around, trunk had to be clean-stripped,-painted-carpeted, interior was and still is fairly dirty, blower motor did not work, heat did not work, had 3 year old oil, was out of inspection, had 5 blow out bulbs, had a hole in the roof from removing the light bar (by borough), wipers had rotted away, squirrel nests in the motor bay, bad plugs, bad AIR pump, leaking oil cooler lines, water pump was bad, leaked oil on the timing chain cover seals, power steering pump needs to be changed out eventually, needed grease in all the boots, needed a tie rod end, new exhuast - old mufflers blew part at the seams (literaly) and probably alot more to come!
Right now it is getting a new fuel pump, most likely an oil pressure sending unit, and hopefully not a new optispark and/or ignition module. I have gotten it around quite a bit though with all the issues. I will continue to hopefully update this page as car comes back into a reliable running vehicle and I'll take it from there!
Some pictures I have right now at my disposal:
Damn tie rod:

Old plugs, AC Delco with the old AC logo on them, most likely the original plugs at 120K! They were worn to a gap of 10-15 thousandths over...

The start of the wonderful waterpump job!

Lexan patch to the hole in the console:
