INTRO to Khrome:
I have decided to make a Chrome styled car, just like the old days, only more comfortable to drive. Should be sweet. Not sure about the pictures I made up in MsPaint, might do Chrome Stripes instead. I have installed the tail lights, they look nice. I modified the pic to show Khrome badge it will have, and what number plate could look like if we were allowed to have custom fonts. Looks really good. May go for some Chrome Rims later, but for the moment the ones I got with it do the job. Also they don't need cleaning too often, as they still look ok covered in brake dust, compared with highly polished chrome ones anyway.
Had a small glitch with the chrome Grill, but will fit the bloody thing eventually. It needs the bottom surround, which the XR8 chrome one doesn't need. I may have to get original grill and cut it up a bit, and or get it chrome coated or sprayed (See Below for more info about spray chrome). I have finally installed the Chrome Pin Stripes I got off ebay. Khrome grill emblem yet to be finished. Costing me 200 dollars to make it, so am expecting it to be spot on. Should look like Ford emblem but saying Khrome in my brothers custom font.
Eventually I want to get the Custom plates for it as well. Should look tuff. I also still need to chrome spray the bottom black air intake. Which I was going to mod either side of, where the fog lights normally go, to install a few ram air scoops, but have since decided to just save up for the Cold Air intake for the FPV XR8 instead. Other Idea would not have been do-able because of the lack of room in the engine bay. Would have been good if I had a bit more time and money to throw at this idea, but it will have the same effect by putting in the Factory equiptment I suppose. It was have 2 square-ish funnels, each going to 60mm pipes which hook up to a Y connector, and into an 80mm pipe connecting to the electric supercharger I have, with high flow air filter.
Took about a week for Electric Supercharger to arrive from the States. Supposedly gives 3 to 5 pounds of boost at standstill, but for $200 it's pretty cheap way to give it better pick-up. But with ram scoops it would do a lot more than that at highway speeds. Too bad they didn't work out. Will also need to get a better exhaust to give it more power. No point putting more in, if it can't get out again. Me thinks I am going to have to scour the junk yards looking for a new exhaust. LOLz. If I am lucky I may find a wrecked XR8 with cold air intake and salvage that on the cheap. Save myself $400 in the process. I suspect I will probably put the electric supercharger on the little 1984 Ford Telstar Ghia, as it is not going to be needed on the Falcon once I put a cold air intake on it. But it will probably help more on a 2 litre engine than a 4 litre one. The little Ford as I call it, is quite fun to drive, but not much to look at. 5 speed manual and feels like your ass is on the ground low. If I get round to modding it I will add another ride to my blog. It will probably end up as an 80's Street Machine. I want to respray it and add a nice Aluminium wing to it, with some nice mags and custom body kit, and upgrade the suspension. But it will have to wait till I have the cash. Khrome has to get done first. If anyone out there wants to help me with the upgrade process feel free to donate a few bucks to my PayPal account. pathosbedlam@gmail.com It would be much appreciated. It's frustrating having so many good ideas, and not having the funds to make them a reality.
(Update: Little Ford had to be sold to pay bills, But it went to a good home, so it'll be ok. Plus he needed it more than I did. I still have the Electric Supercharger, and have been toying with the idea of removing the original air pod to put a double round air intake on the Falcon, so there's still room for crazyness down the track for sure).

I am still trying to sort putting the 3A Racing Pod into the standard air box for better positive pressure. Will update as soon as I have sorted the problems. I need to manufacture a custom screw in 80mm pipe that clamps into the air filter. Not easy without a lathe.
