last look before the surgery...
19 january 2009, start of the general surgery...
removed the engine...
right front chassis has been previously repaired...
front and rear bumpers removed...
trunklid, plastic sidings removed...
view of trunk...dami kalawang (at butas!)...the grayish portion is not primer but actually dried up mud that entered the corroded upper fender wall/wheel well...ah, so that's why whenever it rains, the trunk is all wet...all the while i thought the trunk weather strip was leaking...
view of interior with carpets removed revealing the still original flooring coated with hardened asphalt...there are signs of corrosion at the driver's side, and areas near the running board...
after removal of the door sidings...right-rear door full of corrosion...
