

THIS IS THE CAR BEFORE THE INTERIOR WAS INSTALLED. NEW PARTS INCLUDED ARE THE DOOR PANELS, HEAD LINER AND VISORS.



JUST FINISHED THE SUSPENSION! I TOOK THE STANDARD HOUSING FOR THE DIFFERENTAL AND CHANDED TO A 3.73 GEAR RATIO. I THEN WELDED THE HOUSING FOR SAFTY SAKE AND ADDED A DETROIT LOCKER SPINDAL (POSITRACTION UNIT). RANDY'S RING AND PINION IN EVERETT, WA. DID THE WORK AND GUARANTEED IT FOR RACING.
THE 15" TIRES AND WHEELS REPLACED THE 14" ONES. I FINISHED IT OFF WITH A SET OF STANDARD BRAKES. THE SHOCKS ARE MONROE, ADJUSTIBLE TO 10 DIFFERENT LAUNCH SETTINGS. COMPETITION ENGINEERING TRACTION BARS ARE ALSO INCLUDED TO REDUCE WHEEL SPIN. I FOUND AN OFF-BEAT AFTERMARKET TORSION BAR FOR THE REAR AS WELL (DIFFICULT TO FIND THIS STUFF FOR A 4-DR). THE REAR SPRINGS WERE PURCHASED FROM JC WHITNEY. THEY HAVE A 4" LIFT TO AID IN RIDE HEIGHT (THE OLD ONES MADE THE CAR SAGE TOO MUCH).
THE PHOTOS BELOW ARE OF THE OLD AND NEW ENGINES. THE NEW ONE IS GOING INTO THE CAR AFTER THE INTERIOR IS FINISHED IN MARCH OR APRIL. ONE OF THE PHOTOS SHOWS THE RAMHORN EXHAUST MANIFOLDS ARE INSTALLED. I'LL HAVE A SET OF SUMMIT RACING HEADERS INSTALLED SOON. PACIFIC AUTO MACHINE IN RENTON, WA. PERFORMED ALL THE MACHINING.
