The first thing I did after buying the car was go through the entire car and replace every maintenance item I could think of. Along the way, I made some easy modifications:
Mark D'Sylva Performance Chip
Bavarian AutoSport Performance Ignition Coils
Ireland Engineering Performance Muffler (60mm pipes)
DDM L.E.D Tail Lights
Witchhunter Rebuilt Injectors
BMW S52 Headers/Manifolds
After some of the maintenance items I started to concentrate on certain areas of the car. The first thing to go where the seats. The stock seats were actually both heated and powered. However, the leather was cracked and torn and they offered little in the way of lateral support. I found a set of heated/powered e36 M3 Vader Seats.
These are simply great seats! They are everything you could ask for in a seat. I applied some Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil on them and installed them in the car. Vaders were never an option in 4-door e36's.
I also found a pristine Black Carpet from a 1997 4-door M3. The old carpet was nasty. The new carpet is worlds better.
