This is my 1968 Fury III 2 Door Hard Top.  It came factory with the Super Cammando 383 hp motor.  This means it came with dual exhaust and a 4 Barrel Carter AVS carb.  I picked it up in March of 2008....call it a birthday gift to myself for my 40th.  Didn't run and was full for mice.......i mean FULL!!!!  Everywhere.....dash, seats, headliner, trunk, and even exhaust!Mopar_Mikey's 1968 Plymouth Fury Mopar_Mikey's 1968 Plymouth Fury

I began by stripping the interior and heating cooling system out of the car.  I didn't want to garage it for the winter until I knew all the rodents were evacuated.  The car had been sitting in a field in Kansas for over 15 years.  In stripping the interior I found the build sheet under the back seat, even though it was half eaten by mice it's kinda neat finding that.  I also wire brushed the interior floor and applied a product called Rust Bullet on it to prevent any other rust from forming.   After that I put a sound deadning material called Fat Mat on.

I got an interior seat cover kit from Legendary Auto Interiors and carpet kit and headliner as well.  It's coming together ok.  I also had to dismantle the entire dash and pull the heater box and get a new heater core, new ducts, and other misc parts.  Those rodents were everywhere I tell you!

It's now in the garage a little warmer to work inside than outside in Colorado.

I'm not a fan of the 69 fury, But I will say you have done a fantastic job of the car. This one I like. I also like how the Banana yellow rims accentuate the car. I would keep those, it helps draws a persons eye to the car. Keep up the good work.

Nice Fury! Keep up the good work! Any tips on the disc brake conversion? Is it just the master cylinder and the assembly at the wheel?
