Repairing the problem
Here I am in the process of replacing the old smashed fender with the new one.
And half-way through the fix.
All done! I put on a brand new oem fender, a used header panel, and got her repainted and it looks pretty good. You can see that the paint isn't the same on the fender and front. I guess it is inevitable when switching from black and brown to white.
P.S. You can thank this poor ol' Chevy for these pictures because that poor 350 between the fenders had to haul the 5500 lb burban and all 3000 lbs of my car for about 100 miles on a dolly. It sucked. that small bock chevy didn't really want to haul the 4 tons of metal.
