The engine compartment. Nothing special here, just an 81 hp 1.8 liter engine with over 215,000 miles on it. Still runs strong.

When I got the car, the front passenger side fender had significant accident damage. I picked up a fender and all the trim bits from a local junkyard. If you look under the passenger headlight and at the passenger side tail light, there's still some remaining damage from that accident (I picked it up wrecked, so I don't know what caused the damage).
I've had this car for two and a half years now, and the ol' girl just keeps plugging along! I'm currently installing stereo equipment and trying to get the interior bits cleaned and/or replaced. I'd like to eventually put a 16v GTI motor in it and paint it all one color. We'll see what happens.
