Here's my baby. 2000 Grand Prix GTX. And yes...its a REAL GTX, sent to SLP for ram air hood, SLP cold air intake, SLP exhaust...and a few other goodies. I even have the GTX key chain thing that came with the car...and of course gotta have the GTX floor matts, only thing it didnt come with (original owner said they were "too expensive") is the GTX 17"x7" Six-spoke chrome-plated aluminum wheels and Michelin P235/55/R17 Pilot series tires rims. Bought the car outta high school in the fall of 2005 with 21000 in the clock, right now it has a little under 34000 on it. I will post more pics this summer.

see http://www.grandprix.net/limited/ for more information on the GTX

includes:

Standard Features ($2499)

  • Fully functional ram air hood and revised intake system (adds ten horsepower)
  • Cloissonne GTX badging for the doors and trunk lid
  • Custom GTX key fobs
  • Full 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty coverage provided
  • Federally crash tested and proven design

options mine came with:

  • Dual/Dual exhaust with four outlets (Adds five horsepower, $699)
  • Custom front and rear floormats ($119)
  • Webasto X-48 SS Spoiler type power sunroof with sunshade ($799)

things I've added

ZZP U-bend delete

ZZP shift kit

ZZP 1.0 PCM

ZZP 3.4 modular pulley

ZZP throttle body spacer

180* T-stat

also bypassed the coolant hoses going to Throttle body to reduce throttle body heat

grandprixgtx00's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix  pic of the car before i drove it off the lot the day i bought her (pic is blurry, isnt a digital copy...had to scan the pic)

yO...I wanna hear about your sunroof. Also- I will post some pics, but (obviously) my Grand Prix is in bad shape. It's GONE. TOTALLED! ...Only had 22,980 orig miles on it the night of the wreck. (a drunk driver nearly caused my g/f and I to flip off a bridge or overpass that is about 175 feet off the ground. In order to LIVE, my car ended up not being able to avoid the concrete barrier on the highway- going about 65mph) Ttsssh... hit me up though. I want to see more pics of your GTX bro. later

Hey, nice cars you have there. I'm looking to start up a Wisconsin Grand Prix owners club that kind of died a few years ago. The group is posted on facebook as WICGP - Wisconsin Club Grand Prix. If you have a Facebook, feel free to join. Thanks

WOW- You are the Grand PRIX man!!! (I WAS pretty much the "Grand AM" man, but now I am about to be the "GMC Typhoon" FANATIC! (just got a custom truck...it's a Typhoon clone... or "Ty" clone. Since GM made the "Syclone" in '91...I call my new truck the "Tyclone!" :) haha.. Bad news on my GTX. (in fact- SO BAD, I'd rather not even tell you about it right now) Send me a message back though about your '00 GTX- and tell me about the "Wabasto" moonroof! I don't understand why SLP had that as an option, since GP's were available with a moon roof, from the factory? Is it NICER!? I think I really like that... Never got to see one in person- is the switch mounted in the same spot ? And what does the inside sun screen look like ? That's sweet though. NICE GTX!! Nice cars...period.
