So back in January of 2008, I got my dreamcar. An F-body firebird.  Although I certainly had my complaints that it was a v6, an early F-body (pre 1998), and automatic, I make do.  It had 43000 miles on it, and I got it for $2600.  I have fallen in love with it.  Here is what you can find through the pages

The Good (when bought):

Strong engine, can run hard for years to come.

Decent interior.

Moderate paint job that had been done recently. (probably one of those "one day" $500 paint jobs)

Good sound system.

The Bad:

It leaks oil, slowly but surely. (been fixed, 1/13/09, woo!)

The paint on the bumper is chipped.

It had been in one accident.

The front springs were cut. (eibachs installed summer 08, hells yeah!)

It will slowly be improved.  I have many plans for it so stay tuned!  Here's what to expect:

FUTURE MODS AND SUCH:

Seafoam the engine

Install oil temp guage (black background with white numbers which glow orange, as to match current guages.  any good brands?)

New rear Shocks (KYB Excel G)

Tower brace and upgraded sway bars(edelbrock likely)

Rims, either c6 corvette or Ws6

K&N cold air intake

MSD ignition coils, wires, and such

Full exhaust, Pacesetter headers (I have not decided if I want to throw a catback system on or custom but I will figure it out)

New head unit (most likely sony)

New speakers (they are startin to go)

possible programmer?  multiple settings.  know of any?

A few engine dress up items

New interior, maybe buy used leather seats or reupholster.  Cleanse the carpet, fix the headliner, and paint a few panels.
