My son and I are restoring this 1963 8 Door Econoline. Teaching him how the old school was. He is enjoying every minute of it. Plus I get to pass on skills my father had taught me. Had a hard time trying to find body panels for the front at a reasonable price. So we decided to do our part in the recycling effort and are transforming a Whirlpool dryer in to an Econoline. We also bought an aluminum 2 core radiator that was made for a 32 ford coupe and reto fit it to cool our 170 6cyl. We also got that installed. 4 new wheel cylinders and a master cylinder rebuild. We took out the points and condensor and the old coil and replaced it with a Petronix electronic ignition conversion and coil. Its coming along great. My son cant wait til he can drive it to school to show it and our work on it off.
