Update 8/23/2012: The car has been running pretty awesome! The air tank was jumping around in the trunk, so I got some foam and fit it to the tank in the spare tire-well. The project isn't done yet, so I don't have any pics up. When it's completed, I'll be sure to get some posted for all to see. Other than that, I've been busy buying my first home (and still got to keep the car!!) so I haven't had much time to work on her or do custom stuff. That all costs money, which I don't have right now because of the house! I'll be sure to get some new pics of her sitting in her very own garage, where she will finally be treated like she deserves! Updates to come, so keep checking back!!
1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T
Even if you don't want to leave a comment, would you please take a second to rate?! I'm not asking for 5* from everyone, because I'd like to know that my car is actually ranked appropriately. I know I have negative comments and 1* ratings because people are haters, but what would the world be without those people?!
Thank you - to all of my supporters who check back and leave comments!! But as always, to the new viewers, thanks for stoppin by and please keep checking back! Leave comments and rate, please!
I'd like to earn Showoff of the Week at least once, so nominate me for that too!! I don't believe that a car has to be "Show Quality" or "Perfect" to make it into SOTW. Any car that has been transformed into something better than stock and shows great potential for the future, should be eligible!
6/3/2011 - I'm also going to start working on the page orders and fixing things up, so it flows better.
Here is a quick Photoshop of what I'd like to do... but it's soooo much work!!!
This is my Eclipse Spyder Turbo. Yes, it is a stock turbo motor.... no swap here. I picked her up on Oct 31, 2008. This car is going to be getting a full make-over. Eventually, everything will be getting replaced with new parts or performance parts. The list of parts is below. I've spent nearly $10k in parts, not including labor, because I do all the work myself. Please make sure you check that out and keep updated with all the new stuff I'm doing. I update my page as often as possible with the latest and greatest, so check back! :)
Here was a "once in a lifetime" Top Spot for Mitsubishi's. The rating system on here sucks... far too many stock cars with minor mods receive so much credit... but for what?!
Some more Top Spots news. This is just a search for Mistubishi Eclipse's only "Top Spots". Can we get the trashy Ebay projects off the "Top Spots" and put something truely inspiring up there?!
Please don't forget to rate it! I want to make it into the highest Top Rides for suspension!! I think this car deserves that much!! :) More pics to come for the Air Ride setup!!
Side Note: If you plan on leaving comments that only contain your opinion of how much you don't like the car or how it looks "cheap", please move on to someone else's profile. I'm not here to take requests of what you would like me to do with the car. It's MY car and it's not cheap. I think anyone that is spending money on their cars at a time like this, is truely a dedicated auto enthusiast. I'm not a stupid NOOB and have had plenty of time under my belt playing mechanic. I do all of my own work on the car and I'm very proud of it. I do plenty of research and pay for everything myself (I've got the bills to prove it). I don't have rich parents to buy me everything I want.
