The Blue Mule... 1992 Dodge 3/4 ton carrying the weight of the world on it's shoulders... The camper is 2840 lbs dry weight, THEN start adding water, camping gear, and all the rest of the crap needed for "camping" such as the microwave, generator, multiple deep cycle batteries, TV (yea, for camping), and all of a sudden the overload springs and air shocks seem to be futile additions. Once owned (abused) by the military, then it worked hard doing tree trimming, landscaping, etc... I figured I would give it a "retirement" as a low-budget RV. Somehow, I think if it could speak, it would beg to go back to work instead! It is far from beautiful, until we're loaded down and climbing a hill on a trip... it seems NOTHING slows it down. (but a gas station) Now if I could only find the jerk that stole my hubcaps.....
