BLACKN14SSS's 2003 Holden Ute

This is my VY SS Holden Commodore Ute

I have fitted Boyd Coddington 19" Turbine Billet wheels, the HSV AP Racing brake package, Tein Coilover Suspension along with a custom Twin Turbo kit using a dry ice intercooler setup!

Turbo choice was a pair of Garret GT2871R 52 trim fitted to custom steampipe exhaust manifolds, stainless steel intercooler piping, boost controlled by a HKS EVC 6 unit using a Turbosmart Raceport Blow off valve with a PLX ODBII Scangauge to monitor ECU functions & AFR readings :) Very tidy!

Engine internals are limited to Yella Terra Roller Rockers, Permaseal MLS headgaskets, Crane Pushrods, Patriot Valvesprings, along with ARP Head, Rod & Exhaust studs. Other than that, stock!

Fuel system is a dual Bosch 044 surge tank setup in the back, using the stock fuel pump as a lifter pump. Fuel pressure regulator is now a Magnafuel 4 port boost compensated system, very reliable!
An Optima Dry Cell 34/78 is in the tray with a custom Billet battery Carrier.

Mounting the turbochargers low, helps keep under bonnet temperatures low and gives the car an exceptional boost response. Boost builds from as low as 1600rpm making it fun to drive!

Yeah, been on a few dyno's now and is pretty consistent with the power output. Pretty happy with the car the way it is, perfect work ute and has no problems hauling close to 1200Kg worth of my work equipment when the need arises.
