"SOLD"

I no longer own this vehichle but it was alot of fun to drive and work on.

RiceRacerEX's 1987 Mazda RX-7

When I first purchased this car it was only 800.00 and it had 165k on the motor.
It was actually from someone that I had a deep loathing grudge against and what made it even more funny was the fact that my best friend purchased it with my money so I would know that it would not be tampered with.

The story behind this is that the previous owner had turned my cam on my S13 "240sx" backwards without me knowing when I was building my KA24. I had it set before and after he flipped it the cam busted along with the sprocket, thus removing drivability. So I was fed up with that car and sold it to buy this one lol. His of all cars and it was in bad shape.

Starting with the busted oil cooler lines, bad clutch, wrong wheel size, no oil and bad tuning.

I immediately went to work on the oil lines and purchased a new aftermarket oil cooler.
I was lucky enough to have NGK's plugs & wires when I first bought the car, along with hissing cone filter on the end of the stock intake.

Now the new oil cooler is installed with 500psi lines. Overkill but they were a Car Club discount.
Warning! The banjo fittings on these are almost impossible to find.

I took the intake idle up to the highest it would go & modifiead the BAC Valve. Because it was idling at 500RPM's and dying t every stop sign on the way home from the previous owners place. It is now idling at 1100RPMS and I just purchased a Stage 2 Clutch that I will swap the next warm day I get.

I have been looking at wheels but I am purchasing another RX7 for 500.00 it's a 88' model, so I will have the spare parts available every time I break something when trying to drift like a stupid ass.

Anyways I am looking for a new digital camera so I can update the cardomain images.

Stay Tuned.

Sad to say, I sold it. I found out that the coolant seals had went south and decided not to rebuild but to just get my money back to finish another project. Sorry everyone... :(
