SEAT's are pretty rare in Australia and this updated Cordoba is even more rare as less than a hundred of them were sold in Australia before Volkswagen withdrew SEAT from the Australian market in 1999. What makes it rare, is that is has an EFI multipoint engine, like that of the Volkswagen Polo, which was sold in Australia at the same time, compared to most Cordoba's that were sold here that had 1.8L singlepoint engines.
SEAT's were sold in Australia from 1994 until 1999. Mine is a 1998 build, but it wasn't registered until 1999. I'm the second owner and I bought it in 2000, so it's now 10 years old and has done 140,000km.
The Cordoba was the sedan version of the Ibiza hatch and were basically a rebadged Volkswagen Polo, but with slightly different styling differences at the rear.
Mines pretty stock standard at the moment, but I'd love to do something with it, after seeing other Cordoba's here at CarDomain. Just wish they were still sold here....
