GMC 2500 6.0L

                       This is my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 SL 4x4. It is reg cab, long bed. It has a 6.0L Vortec V-8 the makes 300HP and 360Ft-lbs stock, and the motor is stock with the exception of the exhaust... for now.

Home Made Projects:

Front bumber; I "took" off my lower plastic bumper (really a brush pile did), and replaced it with a push bar that i fabed up.

I used; 2x6 1/4 thick steel, 4" dia. 1/4" steel pipe, 1/4" steel diamond plate end caps, rolled on bed liner, all welded up and bolted on.

GMC Emblems:

I desined five emblems up on CAD (SolidWorks), these are two that we CNC (Thermwood) out of plastic for a mock up, the real deal it made out of 1/4" aluminum.

the other three are; 4x4" Deer skull (tailgate or back of tool box) 2500 logo with arrow through it and small deer skull where the HD would go at the end(stock placement), Vortec 6.0L (where Allison Transmission would go)

Rear Bumper: There was nothin wrong with the stock bumper other then it wasn't as strong as I'd like.

the materials that i used were; main bumper 6x6 1/4" steel box, 1/4" steel diamond plate (sides and back) 1/8" steel diamond plate (top), 1/4" aluminum diamond plate (back), 70's style GM plate lights, 4" dia. re- yard loghts wired into back up lights, 1/4" Bullet-Resistant Polycarbonate (yard light shield)

Upcomin Projects:

I've just started making a 1/4" steel diamond plate full body skid plate. I tore off a side view mirror off roading, so i'm gonna try and make a set of HD towing mirrors out of carbon fiber, back rack.
