Background and History
I am from Malaysia. I love mini car since young but could not afford to own ones. My uncle gave me his lovely Austin GT 1275 as he was elderly and unable to maintain this car. He loved this mini so much that when he gave it away, he want to ensure someone has the interest as well and will continue to maintain it in good condition. My mini has not been maintain for a while and I am in the midst of repairing and making it looks good.
My mini number plate is CM 9659 thus I named my mini as Ching's Mini 9659. Ching is my family name. This BLMC Austin GT 1275 has been registered in Sabah (East Malaysia) numbered as EJA 2515 on 1st Sept 1971. The first owner was an army personnel and his army number is 14977. He must have stationed in Sabah as it was registered there. In 1979, I believe he was transferred back to West Malaysia and stationed at 2 RMAD (army camp), Mentakab Pahang, Malaysia. This mini was re-registered at Pahang State where the first digit of the registration will be C. It was registered here on Jan 4th, 1979. I am the third owner of this mini.
Let me show you the new look after I have put the life into my mini. My mini is currently in the workshop undergoing refurbishing and should be able to share with everyone very soon. My family members are also very excited to ride on my mini.

While waiting for new coat of paint for my mini, I have decided to start working on my motorcycle a Honda Cub 1972 model. I have been using this bike for more than 20 years. I used it while I was in varsity and when I start working. I have left it there for a while and not being used. Now the engine oil is leaking, mudguard spoilt and other parts of the body does not look good. Speedometer and signal lights are not functioning, head light is dim. The horn is spoilt and battery is flat. I have sent my bike to the mechanic for some minor repairs. I will send for repainting, repair the seat, and probably crome some of the parts of my bike. I will let my painter to decide. I will post some photos later in another page.
