Bringing It Home
I got this jeep sometime in june of 08 from a guy that stored it in a shed at his dog farm. When I first seen this jeep in person it looked realy bad. The top was off because the back window was broken. The interior was filthy with dust and bird crap from the shed. The speakers were laying it the back seat. I wished I had pictures to show you but, I didnt think of it at the time. When I took it for a test drive it keeped wanting to fall on it's face if u gave it any gas. So I drove it home and me and my dad started cleaning the in side up to get ride of the filth. Then we tried to see why it was running so shitty. We got to looking around and it had a Holley 4 barrel carburator when the original was a 2 barrel. We called up the owner and he had the original intake. So we began to take off the 4 barrel setup and install the 2 barrel. After this was done we fired it up and took it down the road. Wow! what a tramindious amount of difference this made it ran alot better but was still not at it's top.We had done lots more to improve it but it is to much to list. This jeep for an 87 is unbelievable for the shape that it is in I have spoted on 2 areas of rust about a quarter size each.
I would like to sell it but i dont now how much to set the price for let me know how much you think or if interested leave a message or comment. Im thinking maybe around 4,000 to 5,000.
