I bought the car from Saskatchewan Government Insurane (SGI) salvage yard. The car has been keyed/knifed/vandalized all around the car and so it was listed as vandalized. The reserve price set for the car was $2500, So i decided to bid $3300, as I have watched how much cars in this conditon have sold for before. I ended up having the highest bid with 3 other people bein between 3200-3275. It is a fully loaded Five speed 2002 Sunfire Gt with the 2.2 Ecotec. Also it came with a safety from them.

This is one of the bigger and dumber pissoffs about the car. As many people know the filler panel on the fron bumper, is removable so that you can mount a license plate. Yet the dealer decided to mount a license plate holder over top of the filler panel!!! How dumb can you possibly be?

When I finally got the car away with a one day license, I took it over to the mechanic to be inspected but that is a whole other rant. Afterwards I brought it back to the shop for a closer inspection, and the first thing I did was remove the plate holder.

The Ecotec was introduced to Cavalier Z24 and Sunfire Gt's late in the 2002 Model Year before the design overhaul. My car was one of the few blessed with it :)
