This part/page is not about how I have taken care of this car - but how a dozen guys beat the crap out of it.
Check back in a year or two for the rebuild and care-taking part. This beast handled a beating from driving-virgins, bad drivers, good drivers, and a guy who drives ferraris/lambos/younameit for a living!
It made about a hundred mile-long laps, took a jump, did a bunch of donuts, was hit with pellets and bottles, was jumped on and over by drivers, and generally had the go-pedal on the floor for three hours.

Bought for $100, spent 3 times that trailering it to the venue! Bagged on it for 3 hours and finally blew the seals on the tranny (I had thrown some de-clunker in there in hopes that the seals would throw before the transmission bit the dust - I hope I am right). The dying moment was quite a thrill for the kid driving it. The Grooms little brother - who is a city-kid without a licence and had never driven anything bigger than a civic put the beast through its paces. When it gave up the ghost, it lit the stubble field on fire as it shot flames out the right side. Not bad for a virgin! I am not sure that it is a 9c1 - the kid I bought it from said it was a "cop car", but I think he was going off the paint job. It is stored at a friends place until I get a garage, so I cannot just go look and see. She hauls and has positrack for sure. Its a 350 V8 sbc. The VIN gives no clue for a trans., but it does say it was not a fleet vehicle. I have yet to see anywhere state that the 350 was available to civie models...so it remains a mystery until I can have a look at the trans.

Guns and cop cars. Safety first - only shoot at the ass.

"She's f*cked, boys!" Back to the shooting range!
I am stoked to start rebuilding the SBC and [hopefully] the 700R4. This car was a blast to drive, it was unfortunate that it was destined for the stag, otherwise I would be driving it now.
