1974 Mercedes Benz (W114) 280 Sedan Automatic.

Max-Zorin's 1974 Mercedes-Benz 280SE

Purchased January 2009 - daily driven till now since 1974 !

I am the 9th or 10th owner of this car.

It is powered by 2.8l I6 M110 engine with 4 speed automatic transmission. Original color is unknown (probably white) and interior is dark red. It was manufactured for the North American Market - huge bumpers.

Car is almost original with few exceptions - e.g. air filter housing. Few small pieces are missing.

The interior is complete and needs some work, but nothing major. Radio wiring needs to be sorted out as aftermarket radio was installed by one of the previous owners.

Engine and transmission are fine - engine needs a clean up and tune up. Body needs work and coats of paint hide rust. The car will be fixed up to be used as a summer cruiser.
