I bought this 6,000 pound beast on a GSA auction. It started out life as a military pickup, and was then transferred to the US Forest Service, who painted it yellow. It was then transferred to a rural volunteer fire department in North Carolina, where it received it's current coat of red paint, complete with gold lettering and embellishments. The odometer shows 16.000 miles, and the truck is in remarkably nice shape.
I have since found an aftermarket fiberglass top for it, as well as doors, a spare tire rack, and a few other odds & ends.
My goal is to put it back in service as a brush truck to protect our ranch.
