My 1967 Mustang coupe.

A good profile shot of my car in front of my 1979 F-100. I bought it in 1999 from someone who started a restoration but gave up. I'm in college right now so its a slow process for me but I plan to be finished next year. I don't have a picture of it, but I also have a 1992 Ford Ranger as a daily driver.

The 200cid inline 6. Its mostly stock right now. When I first bought this car, I planned to replace the 6 with a 390 V8. The more I drove the car, the more I liked the humble 6 so its going to stay. I'm in search of some good performance parts for it. It has a 3spd manual transmission.

Upgrades:
Pertronix Ignitor and wires, Flamethrower coil
Future plans include duel exhaust and a Holley/Webber 5200 series carb. I hope to get a little more power out of it without losing the 25+ mpg I'm getting now.
The interior is mostly stock except for the console I built myself, the kick panel speakers, and the stereo. tonysmustang's 1967 Ford Mustang

The stereo is a CustomAutosound ( with cd changer) with a digital display hidden by the analog dial. It looks great and sounds good but the downside is that it's actually very hard to see during the day.

It still has a long way to go, but its getting there.

The car looks good. Im thinking about adding a little performance to my six cylinder too. Hope the upgrades go well and let me know how much more power your getting out of the engine compared to when it was stock.

Nice six. I'm looking to do the same to mine. Is that CustomAutosound worth the money?

hey nice six, I'm also contemplating a v8 swap but the more I look into the I6 and the more people I talk to I'm toying with building it. I'll probably end up dropping in a 351 eventually but until then I'll get whatever power I can out of my 200. Come check her out, not exactly working on the engine yet.

I like it. Does the new carb use the stock linkage? Is the stock linkage the same as on a 63 comet?
