Thanks for check'n out my "Pro/Street" '66 Nova SS. It was actually gutted and turned into a full-blown drag car back in the early 80's. Then in 1985 it was pulled into the shop were all the fluids were drained and it sat for 20 years
In 2005, the interior went back in, the wiring for all the lights was re-installed, and basically it was turned into a "Pro/Street" car. I'm now in the process of finishing it.
These first pictures show how it looked with the old 70's style Snorkel Scoop it had. (That ugly thing is long gone)
And YES, that is a '67 nose on it. The car wasn't wrecked or anything,.......it was just a personal preference!

This is what the motor use to look like. It's a 378ci Stroker motor, which is a .040 over small-block 400 with a 350 crank and rods. It has 11:1 forged pistons, a .600 lift solid-roller cam, lifters, and 1.6 gold roller rockers, w/stud girdles. It had a Strip Dominator manifold with a race prepped Holley 850 Double Pumper and high volume fuel system, including a Holley Blue electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and chrome fuel log.

The Wheels are 15x14 & 15x3.5 WELD "Draglites"
The Tires are Mickey Thompson 29x18.5 & 26x7.5

It has a narrowed Dana 60 with a 4.56 Detriot Locker and 35 spline Strange axles. It has an Art Morrison rear frame as well as sub-frame connectors. It also has Competition Engineering adjustable ladder bars, coilovers and a front mount panhard bar.
