This is my car affectionately named "Peanut" by its Previous owner my mom. The reason is sort of obvious but just in case people are confused as to why we call the little SL2 Twin Cam "Peanut" just take a look at its size and color. ;)

However because I’m such an crazy Transformer fan-girl I gave him more of a bolder name “Goldcharge.” I’ve been a TF fan for around 7 rears so my inner geek couldn’t help but draw my car as a Transformer like the ones in the new 07 Movie Directed by Michael Bay. So its not exactly my car in reality but just thought I share this for fun…
When I first got the Car it was actually my second car. Previously I drove an Infiniti M30 convertible my BF now Fiancée (98GrandamD-Con) owned 2 years ago but let me drive while away at boot camp for the navy. Unfortunately the car was later totaled in an accident.

But anyways this is my first very own car handed down to me from my parents. I know its not a supper hotrod but its special to me being my first car and the little additions I have made to it. In my opinion I love driving by other Saturns and comparing mine to there’s haha I know im bad right? ... It’s Because practically every time I can at least be the best look’n of the SL2 1995’s. Look at it this way, most of the time I see then with a spare on, bubbled up window tint, busted in taillight, missing rims, missing bumper, or those god ugly plastic bumpers eeuck I hate how those look… (I’m picky sorry) So yea I at least take pride in the fact my car looks half way decent for its age.

The car has been a lifesaver for us in hard times and very reliable! My parrents bought it slightly used from an elderly couple who used the car as a tow vehicle on their RV. This is why the front grill of “Peanut” has those Tow bars and lacks a front license plate holder. We got the little guy in a great time of need and for a long time was our family’s only car. So now I look at him as a sort of our little guardian or helper to my mom and dad and I. (sorry for the mush but I’m sentimental and an avid car lover)

The talk/rumors about Saturn’s being good reliable cars is well founded in my opinion. I haven’t had to do much to the little guy to keep him running just basic maintenance and replace the tires when they wear down.

But he is quite clean and happy 99% of the time as when it comes to cars I like them fresh, clean, and shiney! lol So I do my very best to keep the ones my family own detailed clean and in tip top shape and working order, at least up to the knowledge I have about cars. ;)

Got this license plate holder custom engraved!

So far I've owned the car for just about 3 years and done a few tweaks here and there to it. The very first thing I did was buy it Seat covers. I wanted to give the car an California sorta or Hawaiian feel and also wanted the accent color to be Red.

I also got a matching steering wheel cover. this picture is from before i got matching matts as well.

The next thing I did was get matching mats and decals for the car... Since that Picture I've had the windows all tinted except the front... something that comes very handy in the summer heat of Arizona.

Cant forget the Rare Autobot Flag! These badboys are hard to get now.

Had to throw in a touch of humor. XD

Got a TomTom last Christmas it Rocks! ;)

The floor matts match the seat covers with red Hawaiian flowers on them.

Next I got a Pioneer Radio/CD/MP3 etc.. Along with an I Pod adapter so I could pump up my techno and dance music in the car. Once it was installed I later bought Round type Infinity speakers with Tweeters to replace the back cracked factory speakers. The car has great sound in it now! When my friend get in they always ask me to crank up the music! ;)

Along with other custom features I went out and bought new rims to replace the factory ones. When I say rims I mean the clip on kind lol. But they really do make the car look 100 times better! Gotta love the shine when it drives!

Oh yes and if ya noticed the Autobot Logo that was ordered from Stickergirl.com. GO AUTOBOTS! ;P

Speaking of shine I also have installed red led glow strips on the inside front passenger floor. They are placed on the side actually close to where the door opens and I have a switch just under the steering wheel where the wires are fed back to the battery. It took a little while to drill through all the necessary spots for the wiring and to accommodate the switch but the result I’m happy with.

Welp Thats all for now till next time! :)
