Nice to see your resurecting one - its not hopeless - and I bet you appreciate that much more when you get done. I took the easy way out and just bought a nice original 71. Seeing your young fella in the pictures inspired me write what its like to be be a car guys kid, you should read it, its on my sons 89 olds page. My boys grew around cars - the only time the police came our door was when they helped someone out, remind the wife of that next he comes in covered in grease and oil.

Great to hear you're fixing her up. Not many BoatTails out there on the road anymore. Those ol cars are definitely eye catchers when looking dolled up. Good luck!
