My 57 Chevy, aka The Black Widow, is a spinoff of an outlawed NASCAR form 1957. Mines been updated a little to keep up with the time. I have a Hot Rod Jim Frame with All Corvette suspension front and rear. I have a 420 HP LS1 back by a built T56. Race seats and 4 point harnesses to keep you pined in place. I have spiked over 1.25 G’s on Michelin Pilots several times on the road course and at a few autocrosses. Check back for updates, or you can go to Hot Rod Jim’s website and see more about the car on the projects page http://www.hrjinc.com
Thanks
Russell
My last autocross with SASCA in December.

The Chassis Build, I have a C4 Corvette suspension with my LS1. The Chassis is built by Hot Rod Jim's where I work. Long tube headers, 2.5" exhaust all the way back. Now it has Dual Adjustable QA1 Coilover shocks and the shop SS kit with 30mm front swaybars and 24mm rear sway bars. Corvette IRS 3.73 Gears with 275/40/R18's out back and 245/45/R17 up front. I've upgraded to C5 brakes with Hawk AP Plus pads, (Later I figured out that with these pads white wheels was a STUPID STUPID idea.)
Air Brushed Moldings and Body Work. Since I have an LS1 form a C5 Corvette I replaced the stock C1 Corvette flags on the cars with the newer flags. Every piece of trim and all the chrome logos have been painted on to the car.
What I started, well after I put it on the new chassis the First time and after I had already cut on the new quarter patches.
