The
2008 Dodge CHALLENGER SRT8
Named
Dutch
I named this Challenger after a great man in my life.
This man was born in Holland in 1937 and came to the USA at age 16.
He served in the US Navy for 21 years and took on
2 tours in the Vietnam War.
After he retired from the Navy, He worked at a shipyard building Navy Ships.
Then he retired from the shipyard and started working for Orange County (O.C.S.D.) but he had to retire due to an illness.
This man was a wonderful father to his 5 children,
a great husband to his wife, the best grandfather to his grandkids and a friend to all who knows him.
In the mid-summer of 2003 he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.
Dutch fought this Cancer for almost a year and a half.
At the end of August 2004, he lost the battle. With his wife and children at his bedside he passed peacefully knowing he will always be loved.
This man is my Best Friend, my Mentor & my Father.
This is for you Dad
