First, a little about the driver...

Well, the name is Nik. I'm 22 years old and a sergeant in teh U.S. Army, the best Army in the world. I am into cars, obviously, but also love photography, paintball, pool, video games, and the other basic things. I am married to my awesome redheaded wife, Baillie. we are moving to North Carolina very soon, where I will be stationed at Fort Bragg serving with the 82ND Airborne. We are really looking forward to actually starting our life together.

My mustang is my 7th car to own. I started with a 1993 S10 Blazer, which was in my family since new. To keep it simple, we will say that I had a short time calling it my own, and that they don't float. After that, I bought an 1987 Subaru BRAT, which was aweomse, but a piece of shit. I changed the CV shafts so frequently in it that the people at the parts store knew my name, and knew that about every other week I would be in to replace the broken one with a new one. I could change them in aqbout 20 minutes flat. I then bought a 1991 Geo Prizm off of my buddy when he moved, for all of $500. It wasn't anythign special, but it was a 5 speed and had a new clutch. I raced it at San Angelo Dragway in the 17-second class (seriously). I actually wont a trophy or two also. Not to much competition in said bracket. I drove it until almost the end of high school, and one day I had a bad day and was driving it super hard, over-reved it very badly, and ruined the valves. Eneded up eventually blowing a hole through the block on the way to the junk yard. Keep in mind, these 3 vehicles were in the span on 2 years. I bought a 1993 Geo Tracker, which I owned for 3 and a half years, and did a fair amount of work on it. I lifted it a little, did a full custom exhaust, bigger wheels/tires, and a few other odds and ends. It was a fun little truck-thing, and was my transportation when I was in the states on leave. After my first tour in Iraq, I bought a brand new 2006 Civic Si. I loved it, and it was a great car, but not the right car for me in Germany. I drove entirely too fast, and ended up selling it 5 months and 3 tickets later, amazingly not taking a financial loss, and getting a 2000 Miata SE. The Miata was the perfect car for me, and so far my favorite car I have ever owned (tied with my Mustang, for the two are completely different types of cars). In the Miata, I felt at one with the road. The car handled so well, and was a pure drivers' car...not to mention the convertible! Sadly, I had to sell it before my second deployment, for a big loss. That is how I ended up with my Mustang. I woudln't have bought another car if I could've kept the Miata; instead I would have payed it off, and built a supercharged stroker motor from Flyin Miata, and made it into a track beast. Here are some pics of some of my previous cars, except the Blazer, BRAT, and the Prizm...I lost all of my pictures of them.
My page is going to be set up in chronological order of major steps of ownership, from page 2 being when I bought the car, and subsequent pages being various levels of modifications or events with the car, and maybe a few how-to articles thrown in there along the way. Let me know if there is anything specific you want to see, or if you have any questions about my car or ideas for it. Thanks for checking my page out!
