Nice guy to deal with, and a nice plug and play setup. Had to fashion my own mounting straps for the IC in order to get it to hang right, but nothing major. Also purchased a "Grainger style" MBC from Jim, for all of $20.Update: AFM RelocationHated the location of the AFM in the stock GReddy setup. Decided to mount the AFM off the inlet of the turbo instead. See previous pics further down the page for the old setup, to compare. Much cleaner overall now, and I can actually get at my Koni's to adjust them.Older picsOverall pic of the engine and piping.Closer shot of the turbo outlet pluming. Much less drastic turn than the stock Greddy outlet, which does a 90 degree turn right after coming out of the compressor. Should aid air flow.2nd Gen RX7 Intercooler. Inlet has been reworked, with a 2" inlet (stock is 1.75). Inlet and outlet are now both 2" for better flow.Closeup of the 2" inlet modification.Intake manifold elbow, with fittings for the IAC and BOV. Need to rig something up to use the Mitsu bypass for now - bypass has a 1.25" diameter fitting, while the elbow is setup for a 1" hose/BOV.Pic from the drivers side of turbo outlet. Some clamps are still loose - this pic taken during installation, when I needed to keep all the hose clamps loose to get the right fit.Pic of the brackets I fashioned for the inlet side of the RX7 IC.Shot of the IC pipe routing under the radiator - need to cut and refit the mouth shroud, and splash pan to complete the install. Pipes sit nice and high.Shot of the IC pipe routing under the radiator from the other side.Pic of the brackets on the outlet side of the IC. I don't have AC, so I used the mounting tabs for the AC condenser to mount the brackets and IC.Upper inlet side bracket, before painting. This one goes around the front of the IC tubes.Lower inlet side bracket, before painting. This one goes around the back of the IC tubes.Voila! Much better setup than the stock crossover, and should keep the intake charge much cooler than when I was running the JRSC crossover.
