I bought this 1997 Ford Ranger for 500 bucks as a project daily driver. I exchanged the title and drove it home, It needed a windsheild, passenger glass, camber bushings, tires, bodywork and a Door Popper kit, it also it rode like crap, but ran well, other than not ideling. So I got it home and started my "tinkering" My first job was the windshield, a heat gun, "window wire", and couple hours an patience and the windsheild was out an the new one in. after that i ordered the door popper kit, and installed that. Then I made a trip to the junkyard and got an inake tube from a 3.8L thunderbird coupe, which solved my idleing problem. After that I installed the adjustable 3.5 degree camber bushings an had an alignment done. A little bodywork...okok a lot of bodywork (still doing it) and it started looking decent. I made another trip to the junkyard and got some rear leafs, since the ones in it were monoleafed an bent up and bottoming out bad. To swap them out, I had to cut/grind out ever bolt holding in the monoleafs, an reinstalled the junkyard stock springs. Now it rides a lot better, just need a flipkit, that's next on my list, after that, im going to run a cherrybomb extreme single in dual out muffler and  have an exhaust shop bend me up some pipe. It's a 2.3L 4-banger Z3CHYD's 1997 Ford Ranger Z3CHYD's 1997 Ford Ranger Z3CHYD's 1997 Ford Ranger Z3CHYD's 1997 Ford Ranger
