In 1990 I found this Pontiac 2 door Hd/Tp at wrecker in Caldwell Idaho. It was used as a wood shed by the last owner. My wife's (Laurel) Dad had a '52 pontiac in the late '50's. We bought it and brought it up to Edmonton in '93. The car was completly dismantled and sandblasted in early '95. The complete floor and trunk were cut out and fitted to a '80 Olds Cutlass chassis that was lengthened 12". The body was channelled over the chassis 5". The Olds floor was lengthened 7" to meet the filled & smoothed firewall. The car was completley dechromed except for the beltline staineless trim. The rear tail lights were filled and caddilac units frenched in under the trunk lid. '55 pontiac bumpers were molded into the rear using conduit tubing. A narrowed (5")'56 olds front bumper was molded into the front. The headlights were frenched, peaked and tunnelled 4". All four wheel openings were reshaped using conduit tubing to give the car a lower look. The trunk and hood chrome were removed and a scoop was integrated into the hood. The roof was chopped 2" without cutting the rear glass. After much body massaging deep amaethist pearl purple was applied and ghost flip/flop flames were layed out and airbrushed. The engine is a '73 olds 350 with a TH 350 with a custom built air cleaner cover and rad cover. The dash is also custom with steering column, power brake booster and rad/modified rad shell out of the '80 Olds doner car.Power seats are from a '80 Caddilac Eldorado.2 winters ago a full independent air ride system was added.Wheels are astro supreemes with bullet center caps and lugnuts. There are many other features too many to list. Many thanks to the many people Who helped out, Ron & Loni Eerechook(Brothers Auto Body), Ron Stockdale, Dan Engle, Guy Hanak(Showtime Auto Ref.) Darryl Dickie, Spence and Clayton Sample, RIchard Van Brugen, Graham Cannon, Sorry if I missed anyone. While under construction the car has logged 35,000 Mis. Lot's of fun, It's been to Sask, Wash. state Idaho, Oregon, Utah and BC etc. Not a trailer Queen!
