Car was bought pretty much stock, only mods done where the Axepi 3.5" Cat Back Exhaust, JVC DVD Player Head Unit, Blitz Pod Filter, sway bars, GTR Rear Wing, and the 17" Longchamp XRV Rims.
Soon after buying the car i found out that the rims were buckled, so they either needed repairing or replacing. I couldnt find any that i really liked that where within my budget, I found out that the Longchamps are rather rare, and decided to get them repaired.
Extensive Wheel & Rim works repaired the rims, total repair was about $800. The car was on car stands for about 1.5 weeks, it took about 1 week to have the rims repaired, heres some pics of the car on stands.
Window Tinting & Rims
I got the windows tinted today in the darkest legal in Sth Aust which is about 30-35%. Here is some before and after pictures. Also some pictures of the rims that got repaired on the car.
Compression Test/Dyno (Power Run)
I had my car booked in at Blackwood Dyno Tune at 8:30 this morning, got there, waiting about 10-15 mintues for the mechanic. The mechanic put the car into the Dyno bay, and did the compression test first, came up as 145lbs for all six cyclinders, so a rather healty engine. He put it back together again and began the Dyno Run.
Now you have to remember that this car is almost stock, just a few modifcations, none that would really make much performance difference. The car in its current state made 149kw at the wheels. The dyno sheets are below.
I shall be aiming for about 250-300rwkw, as of 14-01-09 i found out that my car has 149rwkw, so i need an extra 101rwkw to reach my target. The search for GODZILLA begins :P.
