NEW PICS ON PAGE 8, SHOWS BLACKED OUT WHEELS, TAIL LIGHTS, & GRILL/FRONT SIGNALS
This is my 1989 Honda Accord LX , its been a project that I've started back in March of 2008. So far I've only been able to smooth the body up some, throw some paint on it, put the 19" wheels and tires on it. The wheels are 19"x7" ADR Phantom , polished and silver in color. I had to make the custom wheel sheilds myself due to the 4 lug bolt pattern, and the 19" diam. I also am pretty sure that I am a 1 and only running 19"s. I like to be different, as you can tell, this is no tunner car. It has a carberated engine, and been told there is no perfomance hope for them. Maybe a engine swap in the future? I am looking for a body kit, and Z3 fenders, candy true blue pearl, and black 2-tone paint jb to be on it this coming spring when it gets warm enough to anyways. Am thinking of molding in some type of newer style headlights or possibly projectors? That should give it a truly 1 off look that i desire. As all car guys know that once you get started on a car its hard to say its done , they just sort of keep evolving. Oh yeah, my tire size is 215/35ZR19 , they required me to space my wheels out 3/8" , and to trim and roll my inner fender lips to fit properly. They will only rub if you drive too fast over obsticles such as railroad crossings. The car is a 5-speed car which makes it fun to drive. I installed a Sony indash CD player, 6 1/2"s 2ways in front doors. Lighting Audio 6"x8"s in the rear dash. I have a Rockford Fosgate P3 15" subwoofer in a vented box. My P3 15" sub is powered by a old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 200ix. The sound system sounds awsome with the rear seat down , people dont beleave its only one sub when thet hear it. The car it self only has 141,xxx miles on it and runs great. I made the chrome window pillars and 19" chrome emblems myself also. I am currently working on another project also. A 1970 (first year) Chevy Monte Carlo, look for a page on it to be coming soon!!!
SORRY for the dirty car pics its too cold to wash.
