Bought new in 1978 by my dad. Z28 with 4spd T-10 and 3:73. My mom drove it until bought 1987, then it was driven occasionally, until 1996 when I got my liscence, it's never been the same since for me or the car!
I started with a re-paint of the factory Bright Blue, a little chrome dress up under hood, then some headers and exhaust. Next came the first motor build, a mild cam and clean up bore, and an aluminum intake. Second build included more cam, Dart heads & intake, new headers, Holley 750 DP, then a re-spun drive shaft, centerforce clutch, Auburn posi unit, lots of rear tires, and some white stripes by me.
Just recently added the 17" wheels and lowered the front with Hotchkis springs. One day I'll do a complete re-build of the car, one day... Below is the mostly all original interior and the dirty engine.
