"BabyLac89" is a 1989 Plymouth Reliant K America LE, with 54K original miles, that has gone through a complete frame up restoration.  It was featured in "Cold Case" Episode #6 in November 2008.

Custom built 1955 Chrysler Windsor genuine wire wheels in a FWD application (15X6 Front and 15X7 Rear) wrapped in Cadillac Vogue Tires.  Custom Medium Rose Metallic Pearl paint job, Bentley Desert Maroon nagahyde top material, complete interior restoration, made from an original 1989 velour factory interior bolt, including a custom made full Front Bench Sheepskin Cover, new glass, rubber, weatherstripping, etc., The Chrysler hood ornament came from a totaled Dodge 400 convertible in a local wrecking yard.

Complete short block, reprogrammed ECU, Dual Core Radiator, 180 degree thermostat, High Pressure Radiator Cap, Blue Streak Spark Plug Wires and Coil, Optima Red Top Battery, polished and ported the heads, three-angle valve job, back-cut the valves, replaced the valve guides and reseated them with new seals, hotter coil with a wider plug gap, ported the exhaust manifold, K&N high flow drop-in air filter, and it now produces a little over 150HP at the crank.  Chrysler New Yorker Stereo System with upgraded Pioneer Speakers.  A local Southern California show winner, and a daily driver.

I had a 1984 Dodge 600 ES turbo and while you think yours is fast I know mine was slow. So in otherwards i think you might of wasted your money. My Escort Zx2 would smoke my 600, i guess thats technology... But as long as you think its fast thats all the matters right? Who cares what the driver of the minivan thinks when he beats you in a race, it was fun right?

Chief, I had no idea that I hadn't commented on your K-sedan before. It's AWESOME!! And thanks for your review of my written work. I promise it will get better again towards the end. I'm going to add something to the prologue to give it a bit of an incentive to dive into though. Take care pal, K-man Pete.

Hi Chief, thanx for your comment! Your ride looks like new, just like out from the factory. Very good restoration work! See ya.
