After my accident with my red fiat palio (Egypalio), i recently aqcuired a silver lanos coupe which came stock with a 1.3 engine and had some exterior modifications. This is how it looked when i first got it.

First the 17" had to go for some 16", its really a personal thing because i think 16" is the best compromise between performance and looks.

I then tidied up the interior and installed some momo goodies (steering wheel with hub, shift knob, floor pedals, floor mats) and i also changed the dials to white. I have also done the front splitter to go all the way with the bumper and fabricated some door pods to accomodate some new speakers. The sound system consists of a jvs head unit, 2x300 watt front speakers, 2x 420watt rear speakers on a 350 watt amp, 600 watt subwoofer on a 350 watt amp.

I then put on this carbon fiber muffler and starting planning my engine swap because the 1.3 engine was stupidly slow.

I first was going to go for the C20LET but this engine has no support whatsoever here so if anything goes wrong the car will just sit there. I then thought of the T20SED but then came some engine mount modification which i just never liked and they'll never be as strong since no good welders exist here. So i settled in the end for the 1.6 16v (A16DMS) and then go turbo.I also changed the brakes and suspension all for the 1.6 ones but with new rotors and pads and master cylinder.

I also had a short ram air intake installed, a strut tower bar, a jvc DVD head unit, and some other minor stuff. Well here is a link for the engine's first run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IDQFB-wHxc .

This is it for now but wait very soon for a VEMS engine management install, its ordered and on the way, then after that a suspension upgrade and a turbo setup.

Just for fun, here is slow 1.6 next to my friend's v8 4.0 E34
