I just got this 1993 318i and she's still in her prime! The body has 275k on it but its been undercoated and well taken care of, there is not a single spot of rust on it and the engine is a '99 swap with only 90k on it, did some one say score!! ??

I've dabbled with custom cars before, did some interior, installed a sound system and bolt on upgrades can't be that difficult, This time I'm going all out,  this is going to be my first real project car,

Now you can see that it has a Cold Air Intake of some kind, If anyone can recognise the big red intake filter plz let me know what make it is.  My first project will be to fabricate somekind of heat sheild for that intake.

Jonny_blaze84's 1993 BMW 3-Series   Did I menchion it has a sunroof.... oh baby

I've got some big plans for her , for starters in the next few months in the winter, I dont want to freeze my balls off wrenching on the car if its running good.  I'm going to do a few little things...

The front window needs tinting.

Front headlights need to be smoked black to match the tail lights and turn signals.

Silver grill trim needs to be painted black.. Tremclad??

Then in the summer, Im going to put on some nice black-darkgrey five star rims. Just a bit bigger then the originals,

Coil over kit - I want it lowered 1.5" in the back and 2" in the front

New front bumper, probablly baught, but I want to buy fiber strips and epoxy and fabricate one myself, any suggestions??

People think im crazy for this, but I'm going to shave off the back door handles and weld the doors as well, that way it will look like a 2 door and F#$@ sick.

The final piece of the puzzle is to get a hold on a 6cylender to switch in, but i'm guessing if I do that I'll have to fabricate new engine mounts, and throw in a clutch, tranny, drive shaft and differential to go with it???  and a cpu as well??   I've got tools ans space to work, since i used to work on trucks, IE: drumptrucks and Snowplows, but truthfully im lost on this part,  any help/recomendations??

Allright new gameplan, I took a 2005 bmw for a test run and guess what!! The 2006 325i sport package handles like ..... A brick compared to my baby green. So I will be dumping all kinds of $$$ into this car, updates coming soon!!!!!
