I bought my TA GT in September 2008. I have always wanted to own a TA ever since I was a little kid. I always told myself I would have one. Granted this is idealy not the one I wanted, but I am satisfied none the less.
Right now the Stereo is a Pioneer DEH-P4000UB w/ 2 12" Memphis Subs pushed by a Alpine 500w Mono amp.
The previous owner of this car installed a Holley Throttle Body and K&N Cold Air Intake & Cam.
It's an automatic. Don't tell me an automatic sucks, I owned a Z28 Stick, and while it was fun, it wasn't great for everyday driving, especially in Dallas traffic.
When I purchased the car I immediately had flowmaster put on but I would like eventually remove the flowmaster and have Borla Cat back installed with some new headers. Suggestions?
The car does have some oil pressure issues and a fuel pressure problem so eventually this baby is going to get a new motor and a new fuel pump. Suggestions?
I would like to strip the interior and put in leather seats. The car has the original spoiler, which happens to not be the high rise spoiler. In 1993 and 1994 only the Trans Am GT had the high rise spoiler. I would like to remove it and get a high rise hatch installed.
The paint is chipping on the bumpers and fading on the side mirrors. I didn't pay but 2k for this car so I can't complain. I have only raced this car one time and left a 96 Mustang GT behind. Once I get a new motor put in it and some other things, I'll put some hard lovin on it.
