This is my 1962 Corvair I picked up. It has 67,127 ORIGINAL MILES and still runs great, the doors don't sag, and it'll still pull the frount wheels 3 inches off the ground! It has truely stood the test of time. In this pic the car is dirty that is not rust. and the only rust on the car is just a touch of surface rust around the rear wheel wells. I'll fix that when I get around to it.

In my opinion this the greatest car Chevy ever made regardless of what anyone says about "unsafe at any speed" FUCK YOU RALPH NADER!!!
I own a Corvair or maybe the Corvair owns me. Its kind of hard to say when the windows are down and I'm driving around town on a brisk, sunny day. Unsafe at any speed? Ralph Nader eat your heart out.
It is bone stock right down to the original AM radio with the exception of the custom dual exhaust that makes it sound great and the rear wheels that came with it when I got it. (will be changing those)
The inside has seen better days but hey for the original 1962 upholstry it's not bad either.

I'm going to replace the doorpanels with some brushed alluminum and replace the headliner in time but other than that I'm going to just give it a good cleaning and sew a few seams and enjoy my "Poor man's Porsche"
As far as the body goes it is all surface rust and only one ding in the quarter. I have the taillight fixed now.
