         1999 Trans Am

99' LS1 Trans Am A4 Medium Blue Metallic -build date, 3/16/99  -  Orig delivered to Lawrence Marshall Pontiac in Bryan Tx. Less than 1000 Medium Blue Metallic Trans Am's exist. All were A4 except 1 and all had light grey interior. WS6 was not available. This color ONLY CAME OUT IN 99' as diff name on GM's reg.C5 Vetts - Not avail on Zo6 (Nassau Blue Met), and on Z28 Camaro's - Not SS (Light Blue Met). It was also available on v6 Camaro's and Firebird's. Only car more rare in this color was the LS1 Formula Firebird (less than 100).

I bought the car stock in 06' as a daily driver so that i could garage my SS. Now im drivin my SS to garage the TA LOL! Powered by the most wonderful small block ever designed, the all aluminum 346 LS1. Transmitted through the, well, not so bad GM 4L60E 4speed and 3.23 gears. Still has the stock, weak, leaky 10 bolt GM (S-10 derived) rearend. Just clicked 141k on the odometer & the car still runs solid times and puts down solid HP #'s. Like the auto better than M6 now too.

Mods: Pacesetter uncoated 1 3/4 to 3'' LT headers dumped after H pipe, descreened and ported MAF, K&N's FIPK1 cold air kit, BBK 80MM throttle body, LS6 intake, EGR delete, AIR delete, Texas Speed & Performance dyno tune - 318hp 324tq (before the LS6, & BBK) 275-40-17 Mickey Thompson ET street radials on chrome ZR1's, Vigilante 4000RPM stall converter, Derale 4l60E deep pan, Perma-Cool 24k External Oil Cooler, Hotchkis strut tower brace, CNC rotorworks cross drilled and slotted rotors in front & back, factory WS6 hood, clear front sidemarkers, embroidered floormats.  Soon to come: Custom ground med. size cam w/essentials, clear rear side markers.

"I dont even try for the LS1's, what is it they say? Look at it sideways and you get another 100 hp out of it?" - Nissan Z owner

Great color, good mods. I like the ZR1 wheels, those look sharp. These cars can handle miles too, I wouldnt stress keeping em off it! Drive it til the wheels fall off
