Welcome to my page. This is my 2005 Black on Black on Black Jaguar X-Type Sport... When I first got it, I didnt want to do anything to is cause I thought it looked sooo damm good just the way it was... 05 was the only year you could get the Sport model the way you see it here; 18" wheels, wide oval exhaust tips, sport springs, sport bilstein struts, leather and suede seats, and best of all the front lip and body kit... I guess people complained that the front lip was to low, so for 06 models they removed it... Sucks for them... The car is not fast but I would say its quick with a 0-60 time of 6.9 and top speed regulated at 130MPH... Although it does have a 3.0 V6, output is only rated at 227HP with little room to get more power. The car handles as tight as a BMW 335i with the power of an Audi A4 2.0T...
After a while figured I'd see what I could do to make it look better... So I Shaved off the back emblems and painted the rear chrome peice a gloss black, same as the rest of the car...
Next thing I did was paint the brake calipers red to give it a slightly sportier look...
Next came the Nokia Hyper Yellow Fogs...
And then came the 35% tint, stilll wish I had gone darker...
I also replaced the factory subs (two 6.5" alpines in rear deck) with CDT M6+ subs. they are rated at 240W a peice and 120RMS. Just waiting for my sony amp to come in to really get them thumpin.
So my girl finally helped me get my Amp for my birthday. Sony Xplod rated at 1000W and 185rms x 2 speakers at 4ohms. Got it hooked up by my boys at Next Level Custom Wheels in Raleigh. And the verdict: best upgrade ever. If you have an X-Type replace your current rear subs and add some bass to your life. Sounds as If I placed a 10" sub in the trunk with out taking up any space. Spent $200 on speakers(x-mas gift), $150 on amp(bday gift), and $100 for install and wiring. Total of $450, but deffinately worth it for more bass and stock look. Check pics out.
And below is my next update and will have by the end of the month... The new 2008/9 grill only available on the european models... And the second pic has the lower Arden Steel grill which sits a little further back in the bumper...
And here we are finally, the end of the month/ begining of the month and I have my new grill painted and installed... I also smoked out the front bumper lights and side markers... check them out...
Tommorow getting some Extraaaa crazzzy stuff done to my system so check out my site tom night or thursday morning...
3/5/09... My Subs are finally installed and ready to go... If you have ever seen a set up like this before let me know where cause I havn't... they sound as good as they look... Let me know what you think...
5/25/09 I decided make a change to my 09 grill. I saw a blacked out 08 Benz S550 and said I need to paint the grill black. So here it is. I also took a few dash pics as requested by a few members.

June 13th, 2009... Finally got my latest upgrade and prob the best of all, my rims... Went with some 19x8.5 ADR M-Sport wheels... Michelin Sport PS2's 235/35ZR19 in front and 245/35ZR19 in back... here are some pics after a fresh wash today... Also meet up with my boy JAY so check his ride out next to mine... Holding it down in the Dirty South...

Finally you can now see the EBC slotted Rotors and Red Stuff break pads.. I painted the Calipers to give it that sporty look...
